Fantasy, celtic, medieval
folk - Germany |
| Biography |
Founded
in 1989, Corvus Corvax is one of the very
first bands who brought rock into traditional
and authentic medieval music. True to the
original spirit of minstrels, the band members
have collected melodies discovered in libraries
on their many travels. They studied them
carefully, taking interest in the everyday
life of their ancestors and adopting their
way of life. They rebuilt medieval instruments,
improved them thanks to their practical
experience as musicians and used them to
blend rhythms and melodies, creating a new
sound.
This
way, Corvus Corvax has influenced the whole
of the musical movement in Europe. The band's
career has taken them all over the world:
almost everywhere in Europe, in Japan, Jordan,
Morocco and Mexico. Their very spectacular
performances combine celebration and mystery.

Dark & celtic
folk - Belgium |
| Biography |
 At
the beginning of her career, between 2001
and 1003, Keltia's repertoire consisted of
traditional pieces of Ireland and Brittany.
But she quickly added adaptations of artists
like Kate Bush or Alan Stivell as well as
personal compositions, which take the listeners
into a oneiric world where monsters and wonders
meet. A contemporary approach of the art of
former bards… The Autumn of 2004 saw
an important change in Keltia's career, when
she joined forces with three musicians to
form a band: a collaboration of four artists
around a common project. The musical universe
of Keltia then opened to new horizons: her
Celtic-inspired music met with oriental scents
and a new show, denser and more powerful,
was created.
