Brussels Goes Electro-Industrial - Magasin 4 - October 19th 2002 - 8 pm

After the success of the first edition, a sequel was needed ! Here it is, still in Brussels Magasin4 venue, in collaboration with Alfa Matrix and Divine Comedy labels, who will be there with stands and low-priced cd's.
The program is composed of three major acts of the electro-industrial scene, who will each come and present their new release ! A fantastic afterparty should follow.

Implant
Implant is formed in 1992. Two years later, they release the first CD album ("soft flesh / hard steel") and 2 MCD's ("Fun" and "Brain FX") and the band took a swing in unexplored territory of psy-trance, resulting in one of the first psy-electro bands out there. "Kmputor" and the lattest released "UFF" brought them recognition from a lot of artists on the scene. Resulting in doing remixes for Plastic Noise Experience, Neon Electronics, Psyche, Negative Format, Mlada Fronta, Spies, etc. They did a small tour in North America and supported UFF with several gigs in Europe. Today, they are finishing the new studio-album called "Planet Euphoria" for their new label Alfa Matrix. An even more obvious dance assault. The new sound is probably the furthest away from traditional electro they have ever been. Introducing a clear influence of ethnical instruments and rhythms, but still remaining faithful to the original ideas behind the scene, creating intelligent electronic music with a dark edge. For those of you that are looking for a new form of dance oriented electro, IMPLANT is definitely the band to be discovered. For those who followed what Implant did on the 2 last releases, get ready for more, harder, catchier or yet even trancier sounds.

H.I.V+
Electro DJ since the middle of the 80's, Pedro aka H.I.V+ is a leading artist of the French scene. He is also the man behind the legendary Armageddon parties for 10 years.
This evolved noise defender has already released two albums on Divine Comedy and been invited for numerous compilations.
H.I.V+ is preparing a small European tour for the end of the year, to support his third album, a double-CD to be released by Divine Comedy, with different guests and remixers. An album that will be especially presented in Brussels !

Empusae
Empusae is a solo project created in 1995 by Nicolas Van Meirhaeghe. His music is a mix between ambient, industrial rhythms and melancholic melodies, a kind of macabre atmospheres soundtrack. Live, Empusae combines music and fascinating visuals.
Empusae's first album will be released in October by Divine Comedy. To be discovered on the 19th ...
